I recently purchased 3 Stendker Tefe 2.5" and 3 Alenquer 2.5" from Hans on 01/19/16. Pics:https://youtu.be/fWtNo_YipIU
Both strains kinda look alike to me, but I love these guys, favorites. This is my grow out project for 2016. Plan on keeping these six in 55G for a year.

How can, or why, call that fish a tefe? It's a good looking fish but in no way does it resemble a tefe.
IMHO, I think breeders are starting to "cloud"," cross" or what ever you want to call it , probably marketing,
To sell fish.

So happy to find pictures of these beauties-- thanks for posting. Just ordered 1- 6-7 inch from Hans and was looking for pictures of these in adult size.
