I have a few ideas, but not sure what to do. Maybe you guys could give some input.

1: Angelfish Tank
1 Angelfish for the centerpiece and 1 German Blue Ram. Lots of tetras and Cory cats to fill the rest. Heavily planted.

2: Honduran Red Point
1 Honduran Red Point, some larger cory's and maybe some Buenos Aires tetras. I'm iffy on this one, because I feel like it might get too big for the tank?

3: Tanganikan community
6 Multifacitus Shell Dwellers
3 Julie Regalis

I'm really liking the last option, but I can't do anything with babies if they bred. I wouldn't have the heart to cull a big batch of eggs or babies every month. I like the HRP because I like single wet pets. I miss my Oscar :/ not sure though, opinions wanted :)

Why not a nice mini amazon biotope with tetras, some L type and dwarf cichlids. Just a thought.

I've done that before, with some dwarf crenicichla regani. It was pretty fun, but I'm looking for something a little different, like on my list

Those are pretty cool! I could definitely imagine doing a large school of them in a 125 gallon some day, unless you meant with the Tang tank, instead of the dwarf neon rainbows?

lol, what are the chances? I love CPD's. I had a group of 4 in a 55g with about 100 chili rasboras

Ya, they are pretty dang cool looking! I feel like that would look amazing! Some of mine are jumbo sized! I've had them about 5 years and got relatively large for CPDs. Your tank sounds awesome! Got any videos?

sry, no video, but I do have an old pic. However, it is almost impossible to make out the 100 chilis and the CPD's here. This tank was a jungle at this point with the co2 injection.

WAS beautiful. I tore it down for a 56g bowfront. Still regret not keeping up and running. Sold the co2 setup for peanuts as well and the person thought I was ripping them off, lol.

Shellies are cute and don't mind the small space. My LFS has a shellie tank and there are multiple generations of fry growing out right in the community tank. Not sure I'd combine them with julies but I've never really kept them so I can't say how they'd do.

I think I've found my perfect match :) I'm going to stick with a Dwarf Pike Cichlid in a heavily planted tank. Crenicichla Compressiseps. I want to keep him singularly, but I'm scared without dither fish, he will be hidden most of the time.
