Just like to brag a bit. After a lifetime of boozing, sometimes way too much, I'm proud to say that I've been clean and sober for one year. I finally did it because I wanted to. For my daughter and my Christ. One year down, lifetime to go. \m/ Rock on!!:o

You know, I got thinking about it. I had quit about 4 or 5 months before I joined SD. Musta been I had a short fuse. Muuuuuuch longer now.

Big congrats Bob! I have several alcoholics in my family, my husband and I don't drink, but our children and their spouses all drink too much. Hope they see the light, and sooner rather than later.

Thank you Barb. Enough is enough. And I'd finally had enough. My biggest problem, as a whiskey drinker, was that I never, ever felt bad the next day. Well, maybe I felt bad about whatever stunt I pulled the night before, but never a hangover. And I'll be talking to you later this week.
