First discus eggs

Well hoping to have my first discus eggs to hatch. The pair has laid two other times but ended
up eating the eggs. I placed a guard around them this time. However the parents don't seem to
be fanning the eggs much but so far after 24hrs only a couple white eggs the rest appear a brownish
My question is will the parents care for the fry since they are not paying much attention to the eggs?

Each pair is different. Some people will tell you that they will figure it out but in reality it is all controlled by instinct not intellect. Given exposure the instincts will kick in most of the time. All you can do at this stage is to be patient.
