Be careful on straight tap fill up with this water. It can stress out your discus

Well that's a bummer for sure. I age all my water so I had forgotten about micro-bubbles until a couple of weeks ago when I brought 4 of my fish to the NADA booth at the Aquatic Experience show in Chicago. I got my tank filled up and dropped the fish in and didn't notice the micro-bubbles until a short time later, and they were really bad at that point. It took the fish several hours to recover.

Yeah, I don't age the water, but last winter I slowed down the rate I fill the tank and they went away. It's finally cold enough out side that they showed up again, sigh.., I guess my water changes will take twice as long again.:(

Rubber band and cut a portion of wife's pantyhose.... Put it on end of tube when refilling and cuts down on bubbles.

Just make sure to tell the wife Afterwards... Let them go one day before telling them there's a 3 x 3 inch hole on left calf

Nah, I'll just plant the scissors in the 5yr olds bedroom!

Use a 200 micron sock and also a prefilter on your hose and the micro bubbles will go away.

Okay, now that's brilliant. I like your style, Geoff!

Ricardo, your method is probably the better one... But where's the fun in that ;)
