Hi Simply

I just want to share with you . So after 20 years, 6 month and 1 day in the Navy I have my first surgery.
It wasn't a cosmetic surgery but a necessity as I couldn't endure the pain , insoles, steroid shots etc. didn't work anymore.
I have the bunion which doesn't bother that much but the toes well that is another story , those pins stuck hurt really bad:(.
I guess things has to get worse before get better.
This didn't stop me for the Hobby I getting some RedTurqs from Hans and we have their Quarantine tank ready already :o

Good luck with recovery! Not having a load bearing foot on a day to day basis is a pain. Get better soon.

Julian, wishing you speedy recovery my friend. I myself having had Great Toe joint replacement 3 years ago know very well how bad it can be. In fact the day after my surgery I had a major water leak in my RO filtration which made me have to move all my tanks to an outdoor room. All that with a bum foot, so take care of yourself and hope you have some help for at least the next few days.

Thanks Al,
What kill me is the sitting down time. The pain comes and goes, but it actually looks worst of what it is.

Thank you Barb
Don't be afraid it actually looks worst of what it is. I put it off for many years, but I don't think getting steroids shots is good for the body in the long run, The toes are more trouble some that the bunion on the big toe, but it was the bunion who mess the toes, if I make any sense.
