These are the blues I purchased from Andy (kyaw06) just under a year ago as 2" babies. The biggest are close to 6" now and well let me know what you think.

Bravo! It's hard to tell their coloring from the pics and the background. Are they blue or really that brown/yellow?

The pictures are fairly true to color. They are more blue towards the fins and green/yellow/brown bodies. I think it may be the background and lighting combo. It was painted for an African cichlid setup years ago. I do wonder how they would look under different lighting and a different background.

The lighter the background the more their colors pop. Lighting also plays a huge role. In fact, last week I put a T5HO light over my discus tank and it looked so YELLOW! It made my discus look yellow, they were super lit up, but they didn't look that great, lol.

I bought 11 Red Turquoise babies from Andy a week and a half ago. Real nice guy, I highly recommend dealing with him. Fish seem really healthy and are eating a lot!

Hey Steve great looking babies. I wish I had tank space. I'd have picked up some of those Red Turqs. Keep their water clean, well fed, and read these forums and they will turn out great. Keep us posted on their progress.

I hope they grow as fast healthy as yours. I have them in a 120 gallon tank so there is plenty of room.
