Is it unusual for my discus to eat the zucchini I leave for my plecos?

no, it is not unusual. my wilds eat at the zucchini I put in also for the plecos. they especially like to play around with the seeds that float up slimy little seeds that they spit in and out. idk whether my wilds really eat the zucchini or just pick at it
