Hey guys my wife got me an awesome piece of driftwood for Christmas. It was so big I had to cut it in a few spots to get it to fit.

Got it in the tank finally, plants superglued on, and filled the tank.

It's of course floating now and probably will for a while unless it being so large maybe will make it sink faster.

My grandpa helped me get it all set up and he was worried about the front 2 legs being against the glass while it was soaking as well as one in the back. He was thinking once it settled it may would swell and push against the front of the glass and break it.

I don't that will happen at all and I'll keep an eye on it. These tanks hold thousands of pounds of weight. I don't think a piece of driftwood touching it is gonna matter is it? Just got me paranoid. Here's a photo thanks!

That's a big piece of wood!

No it wont swell from my experience and if it does, the difference is so miniscule you won't see it. Your tank will be fine no worries.

Thank you very much. I though the that was the case but this size tank for some reason makes me nervous. All I've had previously were 55s and under lol
