Neon Sapphire - Super Eruption Cross

I have a Neon Sapphire and Super Eruption Cross that paired up in my community tank and have had several successful spawns. Any thoughts on if this would be a good cross? Thanks.

Well the fry will be colorful for sure. i've seen this cross done quite a bit and normally the fry turn out with a turk or snakeskin type pattern, with a strong tendency towards blue color. The red spots will be few if any, though they may have some strong red content in the fins. As long as the shape of the fry is good and health is strong which is often the case with hybrids, i think its acceptable to breed them together. They just won't have the value of either of the parent strains due to the unstable patterns they will produce.
