Just noticed that my otos are going after the discus and feeding on their slime coat. Is it time to rehome the otos?*

Yup, I've had that happen on 2 separate occasions - different tanks - different Otos. Same thing with Siamese Algae Eaters. Some people still don't believe me this does happen.

I recently removed all plants and reduced my substrate to a very thin layer. I think they must have gotten hungry and that's why they went after the discus.

Get you some bristlenose plecos.......Everything else will eventually take a liking to discus slime.
