Baby wigglers dying

Hi,
I have a pair which are laying every 10 ten days or so, but for some reason after a couple of days or so the eggs are just slowly dropping of the cone the adult fish have layed their eggs on. The eggs have not turned white or gone mouldy. Last summer this adult pair successfully raised a small group of fry which I managed to grow on.
So I am puzzled by what is causing this ?
