The reds on those are just incredible. Love the red eagles.

I have one. I've posted lots of pics of this guy before, but I'll post him here. His pattern continues to change, and now his white spots have red spots inside them. He colors up better when there's a girl fish around (his tail and halo get much darker), but this is him otherwise. He's probably almost 2 years old. I got him almost 18 months ago when he was 4.5".

So when you got your discus it looked similar to the pictures Kyla posted and then changed? I actually really like the pattern your discus shows and only peppering in parts of the fins and Caudal fin.

Steph... Gorgeous fish ! But was thag sold to you as a red eagle? If so where from? I didn't think they got to look this way and I had a large one about a year back... Curious as to some more details

Sorry for my slow reply... yes, Kenny sold him to me as a Red Eagle. This is him (same fish!) when he first arrived. And yes, he has really grown, I need to measure him!

Thanks! It's taken a bunch of Al's FDBW to grow him out! He eats a ton... :)

I had seen discus as the one you had shown above but had no idea that they transformed to that from a Red Eagle. TFS

not bought as red eagle but this fish has dad a dramatic pattern transformation over 6-8 months

Beautiful discus! I really like all the varieties of pigeon, red eagle and melon. Your adult discus has good shape. I check on the FB that you don't sell fishes? I would like visit your hatchery some day :) Prague is not so far from Poland :)
