Does the shape of the poop indicate anything? Or is it just a product of diet? It's usually thin, but I've been trying a new food exclusively the past couple of days and one of my discus has been pooping these very big, thick, ball shaped poops. He was the first one to take to the new food, so he's been overeating a bit. He is gobbling it all up while the others are still debating on trying it or not. He has a big bulge (slightly larger than usual) and I can't tell if he's just super full from overeating or if maybe he's constipated which is causing the large ball shaped poops.

Don't worry. If he has a problem from being constipated (bloat) you'll have no doubt. He won't be able to hold himself upright and look like he's dying and he will if you don't get him in a hospital tank with epson salt. The only poop shape i'd worry about is stringy and white.
