My question is as title says: do discus have sympathy? Or maybe just 'feel' something isn't right?
I have noticed before when I had a sick discus that became inactive and stopped eating, they all became less active.
Now I have a discus that has a fin damage and not doing to well, and they all seem inactive and more shy.
Anyone have experienced this?

Nope. That is a human emotion that fish do not have. My guess would be the others are less active because they to are sick.

Do some extra WCs or whatever it takes. I agree that if everything's getting less active, everything's at risk. I'm not keeping discus yet, but every time I get lazy on my water quality, it shows in lower activity levels for the majority of my fish. I see no reason discus would be different.

Already upped the WCs as first step whenever in doubt. I don't see any signs of problems though and they all approach me as ussual when it's feeding time. I'll keep up with WC and keep and eye out for sign from the other fish.
