Wow John, a super congrats to the family and new bride and groom. :D:D :D Don't be in too much of a hurry to kick the last one out. The empty nester part sounds cool but not all it is cracked up to be.

Thanks everyone and yes I did foot the bill....LOL....but I guess that is supposed to be what happens. When I got married 29+ years ago we just got married at my Mom's house. The whole thing cost about $50.......No the case this time. We had a very nice venue. The one odd thing is the brides group still gets ready in the peoples house. They have not yet completed the building for the bride. The following picture was taken while we were waiting to start. My wifw liked it but wish the dresser had been cleaned up. I only had "paint" to work in but here are the results.

Congratulations. That first pic is beautiful. And is that you with your daughter in the last pic? Anyone ever tell you that you look like Richard Dreyfus?

What a wonderful way to let us know more about you & your family, John. Congrats to you & your lovely daughter, the bride.
I love it when you start new threads about some news in the family, or the horsey scene & pics, or your hunting trips - great stuff - wish more members would do that - it's part of what SD is all about, and makes it more interesting.
And yeah, you do look a lot like Richard Dreyfuss - except you're slimmer & better-looking !

Barb It was not at out place. I will not be building any gazebo's until we move to the farm....LOL.
