I just added a new background to my 90-ish cornertank, and need some ideas for outlet placement.
I have 2 canister filters so logically I need to outlets.
My current idea is placing the outlets to each sides of the overflows (see 2 x red dots in picture) and face them up and angle them a bit to each side.

I'd love to get a few other ideas before I start drilling :)

can't seem to remove second image...please ignore

Can you not place the returns further from each other rather than the middle?

There's no room behind the 2 sides only in the back. Unless I mount tubes on the sides which I'd like to avoid.
I could have tubes on top of the tank and drill holes in the cover. But that will recuire a great deal of plumbing.

If that's the case, place them in the middle and simply use 3/4" loc line.

Had to google loc line. Never seen those before. For now i simple added a few bends to add the output over the background and avoid drilling for now. I'll see if I can get my hands on those loc lines they look pretty smart.
