PVC pipe breeding surface

Any value in using a narrow diameter PVC pipe to allow for better egg grouping and fertilization, or am I overthinking this?

I think you're over thinking it, most males aren't that bad a shot. I think I've tried 1 1/2" before, but in the end cones from Barb seem to work better.

PVC works fine but when I used it I used 1''.

I have plenty of breeding cones, but I think I'll give the 1" PVC a try for some of my "under achieving" males.

If using PVC I normally use the 2 inch.
