How many discus can i have in my tank?

i have one 30 gallon tank and one 20 gallon, but both with proper filtration and planted. just wondering how many juveniles or adults i can have for each.also, to be an adult does a discus have to be 3 inch + or...thx

To raise a group of 6 juveniles to adults a 75 gallon tank is recommended.

The answer would be at most one breeding pair in the 30 if you are prepared to do lots of water changes. A 3 inch discus should be no more than 3 1/2 months of age so no where near an adult.
