Driftwood cleaning

6 days ago I removed driftwood from a 75 gal planted tank and plan on placing it in a 125 gal BB tank . Last night I cleaned it with a scrub brush and let it soak in boiling water .
Is there anything else that needs to been done before placing the driftwood in the tank?
Will it sink after being out of water for 6 days? Thanks for your input

Should not be a problem placing in the tank. Try it and see if it sinks. If it doesn't, screw some slate to the bottom of it.
