Helping a friend with a New Tank

Over the weekend, my friend got a new tank and Dr. Tims Bacteria.
Both of us never used the product and I was wondering if it works and if anyone here can provide feedback on their experience with it.

I never used Dr Tim's but have used ammonia and had great results
