Well I'm picking up the new tank tonight that I plan to make as a discus tank it was set up as a saltwater tank and I'm wondering what is the best way to clean it is bleaching it the best way?

Bleaching will kill any nasty's in it. Use 1 part bleach to 10 parts water. Use CLR to remove hard water stains from the glass.

You sent it to yourself. I've been on forums forever and sometimes still do it.

If it was set up as a saltwater I would not worry about bleaching it, as matter of fact I recently bought a 35 gallon tank that was used for salt water, came home rinsed it,filled it up and add a half dozen of juveniles Discus. It has been going for the last eight weeks with no problems

Don't freak out about bleaching.Let it air dry or use a de-chlorinater.
