Stunted fish?

Hello all I've had a discus for 18 months got him at 3 inches now he is about 6 inches. My question is could a discus that reached 6 inches be stunted.

Do you have a better side on pic? It looks like the eye is quite large, but it also looks to be round. It doesn't look like it is a 6 inch fish. Looks like its only around 4 inches. Could just be the pic though. A better pic would help.

That's a stunted fish. The diameter of the eye should be 1/4 to 1/5 the height of the line going through it. In this fish, the ratio is more like 1/3. For pigeon blood types, the ratio should be 1/5 to 1/6. If you take this fish out and measure, I think it's closer to 4 1/2".

Agree that it is stunted and agree that it doesn't look anything like 6".
