This is my first try at a planted discus tank. So much thanks to this and the plantedtank forum for all the knowledge I have gained.

All the discus are from the wonderful Kenny 99102991039910499105

Nice looking setup Ryan.
What's the size of the tank?
How many discus did you put?
What's your maintenance routine? and
What are those colourful tetra looking fish?

Thank you very much.

The tank is a 75.

When I first started I was doing weekly water changes with the 6 discus that were 4"+ when I purchased them. I since have increased to every other day water changes. My water parameters were always good with the weekly but I want to focus more on the fish.

I actually had a very messy pleco in there that I finally caught and donated to a friend. After removing the pleco I did large daily changes thoroughly vacuuming the gravel every time.

I am very happy with the look of my tank but I have decided to make some changes. I'm going to remove the large pieces of drift wood and some plants. Going to replace with a couple nice manzanita branches and some more seiryu stone.

Want to make it easier for cleaning but still retain the planted.

The little melons are just a group of glofish. They were my son's from the 10g we previously had. They were in the tank first before the discus.

I recently added one more discus total 7. The latest is the 5+ rafflesia.
