Fish from different source

I'm thinking of getting a few more fish, but from a different source because Wayne Ng doesn't have the desired color. Is this something I can do or highly inadvisable.

You can def donit but all will advise to properly qt all new fish and follow that procedure or you could possibly infect the tank.

Obviously you want to go to a reputable source and get high quality stuff either way.

Definitely Quarantine the new fish and de-worm them, but I might go to get them at Wayne's place to make life easier..... still not sure though

Lucky you Martin...not many can say they went and hand picked Discus at Mr Ng's place.
I second what Phil said but seems your already knowledgeable to know....Quarantine, Quarantine, Quarantine any new additions.
Get that camera ready to post some pics.
