Just causing trouble here. I have a group of 6 Rose Reds I got from Kenny (++++) a while back. They are about 3.5-4 " now. They have a brown with some blue base color, and the red is showing mostly in the fins. Do you think this red is naturally developed, as in through line breeding, or are hormones involved? Don't get me wrong, they're great looking fish and I'm eager to see what their adult coloration will be. Just wondering what you think.

Nice clean tank!. Very very nice, glad to see someone with a passion for a bare bottom tank like me!
Cheers mate and very nice discus, Kenny you might have won my heart over bud, with that head head!

If you've had them a while and they had been previously juiced the color would be fading...I'm guessing you're not seeing that. I'd expect if anything you see the coloration increase as they continue to grow.

Since they are from Kenny/Forrest I think it would be safe to say these fish are not artificially colored.

I have to agree, I could be wrong, but I seriously doubt the fish from Kenny would be enhanced in anyway and if they were he would tell you. I think you are just seeing beauty before your eyes and can't believe it can be real ;)!!!!!

I'm guessing these are a Hybrid red cover (no bars) as I have a couple that appear to be the very same variety. Kenny also agrees but mine were obtained from Wattley.. go figure?

Ok I see I'm not the only one to fall for this Clickbait title, wasn't disappointed though, beautiful fish.
