I made a little video of my trip to Hong Kong to get some new fish from Wayne Ng. It never turns out the way I hope it will look (the vid) but I hope you enjoy it never the less.

That was an awesome video!! Thank you for sharing!

So that entire block is all pet and animal related? Thats so cool!

Is there anyway to load the video with out the background music? I kept hearing music on repeat and missed a lot of your commentary!

Fish look awesome... are those your only 4 or adding them to more fish?

My commentary isn't that interesting to hear ;) , but your right the music turned out to be louder than intended.
That whole road (which is even longer than on the vid) is mostly fish and some other pet related. It's a fish fan's wet dream.

That's so awesome ! Looked like heaven in a big city. Looked just like a Manhattan street in a way. At least from the video. I miss living in a big city.

What's your background and what are you up to in China ?

I am from Holland and moved to China because I met my wife here, at the moment I'm working as an English coordinator and Team leader for an Education Group, but everything is open for the future, even moving to the US if someone offers me a job

Almost 3 weeks now and the fish are doing great. 80% water change every day, 4 times feeding and I like to think they have already grown ;)

Well here they are, still small, for sure much smaller than my other guys. The color doesn't really show on the photo's.

Almost 5 weeks in quarantine, this weekend I'm going to put the other fish back in with them, they are in a big plastic tub at the moment, this way I hope the little ones are more used to the tank and won't be to scared of the bigger discus. Lets see how it works out ... video and/or pictures coming soon.

Nice looking juvies Martin .I wish you luck in growing them big and healthy.
What exact strain are they?
How many did you got and how big is your plastic tub you keep them in to ?
I would leave them mixed with a bigger discus from the other tank for a couple of weeks , just to make sure if any cross-contaiminating issues will occur.

The tub I housed 3 Discus (Blue Knight) in is about 20 Gallon, it's time to get them back into the tank together with the smaller once (Violet Reflection), both strains came from Wayne and it should be ok to put them together after 5 weeks.

The 3 bigger Discus (Blue Knight) were in a 20 gallon tub with a 80% water change every day, the smaller once are "Violet Reflection", but strains came from Wayne and according to him, I wouldn't even have to quarantine them but I still did, now my wife is feddup with that tub in our living room and it simply has to go. I did however added some water from each tank (or tub) into the other one for 2 weeks, indeed to make sure there is no cross-contaminating.

All is going well so far, but only time will tell.

All fish are growing really fast, faster then I thought that they would...I will place a few photo's soon.
