pump filters?

anybody use these? are two of the 02's good enough filteration for a 40?

I'm not sure what 02 filter brand name your referring too but know that Fluval makes one called U2 Filter that is suitable for a 30 g.
I personally think a couple of #4 sponge filters via air pump or at least one sponge along with a hang back aqua-clear is a better option.

it comes with the 40g used tank. i was just wondrring if the two wouldvwork. wouldnt be my first choice if i were gojng new
