While I definitely don't expect these to hatch or make it, should I want to get into breeding this pair, what do I need to do? It's a Pigeon Blood female and I think red turq male. What color would this be? Any info? Thanks!

Short answer, get a different pair. A pigeon blood with a red turq is not a good match at all. The fry are likely to be very peppered and not considered very desirable. That aside, you need at least a 20 gallon tank with a sponge filter and heater. Then you need a couple of 75's to grow out the fry large enough to sell. That is basically all it takes. Spawns require a lot of work!!

Both very nice Discus but would not cross this combo. Keep Pigeon with Pigeon.

even tho it is not advisable to breed the pair, there is no harm in letting them practice laying eggs in the tank, as it could take them a while to get the hang of caring for the eggs/wrigglers. plus its fun to watch pair behaviour (as long as the aggression stays manageable for the other discus)

I don't know your water parameters Adam , but unless your current water is very soft (low GH , KH ) TDS below 100 , you are less likely to see any wrigglers .
I also have a 2 beautiful red turqs spawning in my community planted tank right this moment but with my TDS above 330 ppm (KH 15 ) , taking care of the spawn is all I'm about to see from them :).
