Discus knocked unconscious

I just spooked one of my new 5" discus and he hit into the glass and immediately layed lifeless on the bottom of the tank. Thought for sure he was dead. Ran to get my phone for info after about 5 seconds of watching no movent in gills etc. When I looked back up he was gone. Found him swimming with the rest of them like nothing happened. Definitely scared me....anything I need to watch for? Will he be ok?

I've never had similar experience JHouss.
I guess you just gut lucky and since the discus already swimms with the rest of the batch I guess he will turn out to be OK.

I had a Trimaculatus that did that. Hit so hard fractured something and a few days later while swimming right went bonkers and NEVER swam correctly again. After a week of hoping for improvement I put him down. keep good eye on him hopefully you got lucky. It happens nothing we can do.
