For those of you who have multiple tanks that share high powered air pumps: what do you recommend to help keep your air pumps quiet? I have a 900-1100 GPH, happy with the flow, but it is a very noisy device. Any creative advice or DIY tricks would be helpful, thank you.

I have 47 air devices running to my tanks. All I hear is bubbles. I wanted a long lasting silent pump so that's what I bought. Check out the Jemhco air pumps.
i picked up the diaphragm air pump DAPMH8 not too log ago and it is the most powerful, and quietest, of any pump ive ever used. it cost a bit more but was completely worth it, and for how many junk pumps ive gone thru at my lfs in in the past 20 years i expect this one will keep proving its worth over time. plus jehmco customer service were super helpful over the phone.

Here's the best air pump I've ever had. Quiet, efficient and huge volume of air. Linear air pumps are the best made.
