Do discus stop growing when they start to breed?

I'm interested to hear your opinions about Discus growth rates, particularly when they mature and start breeding.

If their growth does decline or stop even, l would like to know what you think the main reason is.

I'm sorry if this topic has already been covered on here, and if it has please point me in the right direction.

Thanks Cliff. Makes me want to delay spawning till my group have grown to their full potential, if that's at all possible?
