With feeding colour enhancing food some discus will turn orange including tail and fins, but some don't even they come from the same batch. Turning orange does not seem to be a strain specific features I have seen it from albino, pigeon, eruption and turquoise sometimes. I am just wondering is it a genetic factor? If it is why this would happen across many strains but it is not necessary for the case for all the discus come from same batch of offspring? I hope my question make sense. What's your thoughts on that?

There is some discussion about this on the discus page holland. Run a google search with - for a clean Marlboro .... genetic for Andrew?
