Nevermind, just saw your other other thread and see that the discus' name is Oatmeal. A group of 6 discus is still good depending what size tank you have?

Oatmeal was my red turk, he showed up in the travel bag kaput. There are six fish left - is that enough for a healthy school? Current tank is 45 gallons, but they will move to 75 gallon when they get bigger.

Personally l would have started with a group of 10 to 12 fish, and thin them out to 8 once they become larger. They really do much better in larger groups

Let them get a litter bigger in the 45G and then into 75, they should be fine.
