I have my adult discus in my 400 litre tank in my lounge room and two spare tanks outside on the verandah. The two outside are a 200 litre glass tank with submersible fluval filter and a 91 litre acrylic tank with power head aquaone setup. I'm considering in the future breeding my two blue diamonds who have paired and are constantly spawning. My thoughts are to use the 91L with a sponge filter for breeding/hospital (if ever I need to qt/treat a sick discus) and the 200 L for growing out any juvies I might be fortunate enough to breed. All tanks are bb. Am I on the right track In terms of the purpose for each tank?

Yeah. Pretty much. Just go all sponge filters for the tanks.

91 litre acrylic tank with a sponge filter will work fine as breeding tank but the 200 litre for growing out will be too small to grow juveniles in my opinion.

What size would you recommend for a grow out tank Akili?

What size would you recommend for a grow out tank Akili? 210 to 280 litres would work fine.
