Cool pic. I know when I drop hikari Cory pellets the assassins flock to them. They do make pretty quick work of stuff

their long proboscis allowed them to reach inside the armor and clean it out.

i suspected its time was approaching as it was out for a while in the daylight and swimming about in an unusual fashion. typically they become very active at feeding, or when dusk mode starts.

maybe they get a taste for cory and take out my green emerald cories, : )

they were okay when small, but now they look, well.... not so good. i need room for bioload and plan to get some more colorful cories.
