Discus spawning like crazy.

Hi fellow discus keepers. I have been keeping discus for about a year and a half and I have nine 5" plus discus in a 180 gallon tank. I have two pairs that keep laying eggs but don't last. One pair is a blue and red Turk. The other is a blue diamond and Marlboro red. I would like to move them to there own 20 gal aquarium. What are drawbacks of having different types of discus breeding and are they sellable or should I wait and get more of the same kind and go that route. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I am not a breeder, but Im pretty sure you will get a nice looking spawn from the turk pairing. I believe Malboro red is a pigeon based strain, so mixing with a non-pigeon like blue diamond will result in heavily peppered offspring. Someone with direct experience should confirm this though.
