So I just moved into a new place; When I went to test my aquarium hose, I noticed the faucet is a weird size....unfortunately...Is there any way I could buy an aquarium hose or adapter that will fit this size? (see pics, the silver piece is the faucet adapter size I need)

Am I going to have to put together some kind of DIY hose? I also need my RO Unit to work on this somehow...

Any advice would be much appreciated, this faucet is the closest water access I have to my room, every place else is downstairs and that won't work.....Please help!!! Thank you

Yeah but all faucets are not created equal. Out of the three sink faucets in my house one of them had a non-standard threading for the metal piece that holds the faucet filter. It is also made by a company that is very common around here and the other two sinks are actually from the same manufacturer. So it was pretty strange when one of those things in the house was not like the others. The threading was probably one of the thinnest threatens I've ever seen. Lowe's and Home Depot did not carry that specific threading for adaptors because it is not common. It made it very hard for me to change the water upstairs in my son's small little Aquarium. Finally I just want to head and took off the old strange faucet and ordered a cheap but efficient and still good-looking faucet off of Amazon. It took me about 20 minutes or maybe 30 in order to take the old one off and put the new one on. This was a battle that I had going on for 2 years because I kept looking 4 a faucet adapter that was unique. So just in case you cannot find the adapter at Home Depot or Lowe's or anywhere online then think about replacing the faucet. It really isn't that hard or expensive. Don't buy a faucet from Lowe's or Depot because they are a hell of a lot more expensive than what you can find on Amazon yet the quality is equal if not better on Amazon period just look at the reviews! You decide to change out your faucet then give me a shout if you have any questions on that!
