Pectoral Fin Growth

Need some advice on the growth at the base of the pec fin shown. Just noticed this weekend, looks like some type of fatty tissue? Fish is otherwise healthy and acting normal. Thanks in advance.

it looks like a genetic thing, nothing disease related to me

No sign of injury of any type, just looks like a growth of some sort.

If that's the case then Jacqueline may be correct and I would just observe and make sure that he is eating properly swimming correctly and that it doesn't develop into anything else
