I got 6 (plus a freebie) of Liz's half black angelfish juveniles today. They arrived perfectly, and with a free one so I was thrilled. Got them in a 30gal bb qt tank at 80.5 degrees with rooibos tea and a simple HOB filter. Very happy with the shape and health of these fish, within a couple hours they were accepting flake food, I gave them the tiniest bit bc they looked ready to eat. Later tonight I threw some loose FDBW in there and they are eating it too. Great little fish, they seem to be intrigued by my heater lol.

Liz knows angels! Those are so pretty. I have lots of fish from Liz's fishroom, they are all beautiful and healthy. And she knows how to ship them too. Can't go wrong with fish from Liz.

Morning Update: all fish doing well and eager to accept flake food. they seem to want to search the bottom rather than the surface and the water column for food today. Their bellies are round and full after two small flake feedings so far today.

I'm so glad you're pleased with them Jacklyn. When it comes to food, these guys are bottomless pits. I don't know where they put it. They're constantly hungry.

Barb. Your box with the offspring from the RSG pair and the Sunset pearl scale Angels will be on it's way to you Monday.

I got the parents from Ryan by winning his auction for Simply. They are drop dead gorgeous fish but there were fertility problems. I finally got a pair to raise a small spawn but like I told Barb, the quality is there but because these are tank bred fish rather than wilds. She may get spots or she may get a bunch of Turks.

I will as soon as I clear out some tank space. I have 9 more but they're in a 65 with a group of gold rams. They need to go in a smaller tank so I can get a good pics. He're a shot of the parents.

I know what you mean about bottomless pits. Feeding a tank full of 300 baby angels is like feeding meat to piranha. I could dump a whole can of flake food and they would polish it off quick.

in the tank with the angels are 7 bronze corydoras, 8 or so amano shrimp, two hatchetfish, one bristlenose pleco, and 5 tetras. I do not feel the angels have outgrown the tank yet but in another 3 months I feel that I will be ready to make a change for them, don't know to where yet though.

I don't think that Jacklyn breeds. I am the breeder of these fish.

I kept 14 of them. I have had several pairs spawn and none of them will raise their own kids. I insist that a pair raise their own kids. My signature should be. "If a pair is too stupid to raise it's own kids it does not deserve to reproduce". I have been told that I'm wrong headed and I'm sure that I am. It's my only rule.

I still have all 14 of those beautiful half blacks but if they don't give me joy soon they'll show up on Aquabid. If you are in to artificial raising PM me. I'll make you a good deal on an unporven pair.

I sold them a while ago. I saw some in a spawn German Blue Blusher Pearls but they're just peas. I have adult Gold Pearlscales if you're interested in those. They don't raise their own kids either,

I soon hope to be getting 4 Classic Blue Leopard's

I’d be interested in a pair that hasn’t spawned. I’d been thinking of cory’s and some other tropicals for my 75 gal planted tank but keep finding myself drawn to these magnificent angels of yours. I don’t want to breed and I don’t want to do more than 1wc a week. My discus keep me too busy for more than that. I’m thinking a mix of some adult angels and a group of cory’s would make a better looking tank than a bunch of tiny fish. I need to start cycling that tank so give me a heads up. I’m in and I’d happily donate a % to SD to keep it simple and support the forum. Do they have special needs as far as ph or anything?

liz is correct, I do not intend on breeding right now, just have 7 from her that have bred in the main tank 4 times now.
