I put a big female turquoise into my wild tank a couple of weeks ago and everything went well until today. I wanted her to find a mate and she did. All was well this morning, but when I got home the couple had beat everyone up.

Consider moving the cone to the corner Steve and give the other fish a place to go too.

You're going to need a separate tank for the pair anyway. It's extremely rare for a spawn to survive in a tank with other discus.

I moved them to a 40 gallon right after I took the photo. The other fish lightened up pretty fast.

The pair ate their eggs, but I'm hoping they try again so I'll leave them there. Now that it gets dark at 5pm I'll have time to raise the young...

I've had the big Turquoise female for 2 years and the wilds since February.

Gorgeous wilds... where from?

I got the turq's from Andy in Newton, MA in December, 2015.

The wilds are from Discus Origins, bought in March of this year. They are the discounted "casual line" that do not have red eyes and/or broken lines. Luckily it is the best looking fish that mated with the female.

They look absolutely stunning Steve both domestic and wild.
