I would get some betadine/Iodine and apply directly to the affected area.

I'm not an expert at diagnosing these things buy that looks like more than just a wound too me.

Also if you have a fish that is "killing" the rest it's because you have too small of a group. The recommendation is 5-6 to spread out this natural aggression so that one particular fish is not being beaten and stressed into illness

Ryan925 I started out with 5 discus he killed 2 so I took my angle from another tank since he is larger and it helped for a few month then he killed my green about 2 weeks ago and now injured my blue. If he wasn’t so expensive I would have already feed him to my piranhas.

White worm ill try to get some today and try hope it works thanks

Haha I’ve thought about rehoming but the 125 has 6 piranhas and the other 55 he would be nipped to death, did think that would be equal justice though lol

So he just died what ever infection he had ate all through him. I even tried the betadine today around 1400 4 hrs ago. I also bought fish mox and had in the water with the melafix. It appears to me that some bacteria in the tank that made it way into my discus when he received his wound. My question is now do you think I’m doing enough to kill what ever is in my tank. Here are the pics of what he looked like at his death the one from the first post was just from this morning so you can see how fast this was attacking him.113205113206

When was the last time you gave the substrate a deep cleaning and how often? They appear quite small for a planted community tank.

I do surface cleaning with every water change and use the gravel vac for deep clean on the areas not cover by grass or plants yet once a week
