I usually use roe to feed my corals and any new finicky fish that I get.
I was wondering if any of you feed this?
I got some small discus yesterday. They seem to like it. 114415

I used halibut roe once(about 12 years ago). The discus all got constipated. They could not digest the shell casings.I used epsom salt to purge them. The casings and eggs where coming out of both ends. Not sure on how herring roe would be but halibut roe is not good for young discus. The halibut eggs were the same size as herring roe, also.

Wow. Thank you. I would not have thought.
Gladly, I haven’t fed roe since and I’ve been feeding only baby brine shrimp and bloodworms.

Your fry is at a stage where they need to be weaned out to adult food. You won't get a lot of growth, if any, with BBS at this point. I recommend beef heart.
