I would try and start with Furan or some other anti bacterial treatment since its not improving on its own .
Does it gets any better or worst over the past 4 weeks ?
Is it the only one from the batch with this problem?
Does it eats or acts normal besides this cloudy eye issue ?

Its not got any worse, he was eating ok,

The other five discus have not had this problem
Thanks Martin

I would separate it in a bare 10 gallons QT tank and treat it with some antibacterial treatment for a start .Eye related problems are mostly of bacterial nature that's why my wild guess would be to try antibiotics.
Good luck Martin .

Did you have any luck with the cloudy eye? I'm experiencing the same thing described above and have tried 50% wc every other day for 8 or 9 days and no better, no worse.

Take a look at easy-life Voogle - I have had good results using this to address bacterial issues

Thanks for the suggestion. It looks like that is only available in Europe and takes like 8 weeks to ship! Any other thoughts here? I put him in a hospital tank and he seems to be doing worse there than in the main tank.

Thanks!

The next best thing will be normal rock salt from the supermarket. Try 4-5 table spoons per 100 litres. If the slime coat overall starts to look cloudy reduce the salt level.

Theres alot of different things that cause issues similar here. I would suggest opening a separate thread in the emergency room, filling out a questionaire and posting some pics. Its very very likely what you have in your tanks and whats going on in these fish is totally different.

That is good to know. Epsom may have reduced any swelling.
