Should I quarantine

Hello so this is not really a discus question but it has to involve the health f my discus and here it goes…so I got a new plecoand was wondering if I should quarantine him or not thank you

Rule of thumb for any tank, with any fish in it. Always quarantine new fish for at least 1 month. 6 weeks is better. That's what I read all the time here.
