Pimples on fish

Last night I noticed 2 pimples on my bt. They are at the end of the pectorals
right next to edge of the gills. There is one on each side and are exactly symetrical.
They are about 1/8 inch dia. and about 1/8 high, sort of bumpy surface
and white. Any ideas?

Jay are they on the bony rays of the fins?

Al, when I read your reply I went down to check a get a better look at them.
The best way to describe them is they look like warts but much smaller in size.
They are on the body just above the top ray of the pecs but sort of rubbing
on the top ray. The thing that has me going is they are mirror images of each other
with regard to looks, size, position. I've never seen anything like these.
I guess I'll just wait and see what happens.
