We don't get to get out of the city very often but when we do, we have a pretty good time. These shots are from Lopez Lake that is about 3hrs away from my house.

I took a whole bunch more pics but almost all have my family in it and i just wanted to share some of the beautiful landscapes.

Enjoy:

Very nice Ricardo...now if only my entire family would have the same love for the outdoors near a body of water as I do I would be a happy camper.

Looks like the sort of place that i would love to visit Ricardo. Water level seem a little low there and i bet the fish are more concentrated...i'd be the guy in one of those boats or kayak with fishing pole in hand trying to catch one. Great to see you getting out and about with your family, and thanks for sharing the lovely pics

Thank you all. Yes, the trip was very fun and i love spending time with the family without any electronics :).

The water level was very low indeed as we haven't had much rain and currently this is the hottest time of the summer. Either way, we caught a fish on one of our morning outings. It was very placid and a great getaway that was much needed.

Looks like it was alot of Fun. Camping is my favorite way to recharge. Are you a tent camper?

Yeah, my family is the kind that barely accepts the notion of sleeping in a tent lol. However, my buddies and i have been planning a 3 day camping trip in which we get dropped off at the top of a mountain and we hike our way down for 3 days only surviving off game. Obviously no tent carried for this excursion. We've been planning this for ages with no luck coordinating our work schedules. :(
