Does Seachem Safe get old?

I have been using my current jar for at least a couple of years. I keep it in the refrigerator. I was wondering if it gets too old to use at some point.

According to their website Chris they claim no shelf live. I've had no issues with safe on the shelf longer then 2 years old as I stock up when I find a sale. I just keep jars sealed at room temp.
If others have experienced something different please chime in.
