Problem
1. Please explain the problems with your fish. When did you notice the problems and did anything unusual happen that you think started them?
One of the older fish(Big&Blue) that is with us for more than a year started to just hide behind the filter or just stood still at the top of the water without flipping its fins, this happen only yesterday after I fed the tank with frozen bloodworm, the other 3 discus sharing the tank are doing fine and I do not see any symptom of skin black or rotting tail/fins so I am puzzled...
Another tank where I kept 5 healthy orange discus, 1 died today morning after I found out yesterday it has a big hole on its body with the skin all rotting off exposing its flesh with lots of mucus and it can't swim at all with 0 strength so it got stuck by the filter, sadly I didn't take any pic as I thought it was just a normal infection so I treat the water with Furan Plus and the fish started swimming again so I thought all was well.. The fish wasn't showing any symptoms at all and was still able to eat the frozen bloodworm I threw in so i was wondering whether it got into a fight as they are often biting one another and the infection start on the wound.. The fish died within a dozen hours...
2. Symptoms (i.e. turning dark, excess slime, not eating, clamped fins, flashing, darting, clamped gills, white/yellow/green poop, hiding, headstanding or tailstanding, white on tips of fins, rotting or fungus, blisters/white zits on fish, bloated, cloudy eyes, wounds).
Bigger blue discus is not moving, not eating and the fins are not swimming.
Orange discus died with a hole in the body, skin all peeled off with mucus all over and exposing its flesh... Now some of the discus are having rotten fins.
3. What medications/ treatments have you already tried and what were the results. Include dosage and duration of treatment.
Furan Plus for a day, did a full water change today for the orange discus tank as mucus from the dead fish was everywhere.

4. Tank size and ages, numbers and sizes of fish.
32x19.5x21.5 4 fish top tank
32x19.5.21.5 5 fish bottom tank
5. Water change regime (What percentage and how often).
Full water change every 1 month as we are using Microbe Lift Special Blend. The water is very clean so I don't know how the fish even got infected...
6. How long has tank been running? Is it bare bottom? If you have substrate, what type and how deep is it?
Bare bottom tank.
7. Do you age your water? If you do for how long and what is the ph swing.
Don't have the equipment as it cost alot in my country.
