Hey all, I know theres still a fair share of people that don't believe in climate change(nope, Im not one ...Sorry.) or at least they dont believe in man made climate change.

But whether you do or dont you all have to admit weather is getting pretty radical regardless of the cause. If you think everything is kosher and fine with the weather and these are just normal fluctuations of abnormal weather or be it "man made" or all natural hic cups... I sure hope you are right though and it gets back to "normal"

Ive seen some pretty dramatic predictions made by various scientists around the world. Rising sea levels, higher temperatures in some areas, colder in others, flooding, drought, fires. crop failures, famine, increased pest insects, collapse of food chains.... yikes thats all pretty scary stuff and probably some of it has already affected you or someone you know...but yet we still cant all seem to get on the same page.

Until now. Finally theres a threat most people can fully appreciate. One that strikes fear into the hearts of people of all political beliefs.... BEER SHORTAGES! gasp! Yes thats right BEER SHORTAGES! Thats the prediction that can unite everyone.

This is serious folks. BEER is one of those things that brings people of political leanings together..Its international as well.

And if that wasnt enough... Its predicted to affect wine availibilty and prices...

They do say if you want to get the attention of someone at a bar, take away their drink.

Cheers! bottoms up, salute, Kampai ....

Hey,there may even be a day when water is a commodity and discus will be for the very rich. Now would you rather have beer and discus;ride a bike and turn the lights off at night. In other words turn off some of that heat;it never goes away but is transferred to the environment. We are definitely helping to heat the planet up.

One good thing could come from all of this. Buy futures in the barley market-you'll become wealthy

Maybe I should start buying beer by the pallet like a couple of friends of mine do with the Samuel Adams "Oktoberfest" beer.

But then I won't have anywhere to store the beer.... oh man, now the sky really is falling.

Oh wait... there is an established brewery nearby, and another small microbrewery/restaurant/pizzeria coming soon. I was afraid I was going to have to switch from beer to whiskey soon.

Scotch whiskey is made from barley. There is no hiding from this.
Good luck.

You’ve touched on a subject very dear to my heart. Not only beer, but coffee, chocolate and wine are going to take a hit. I can’t imagine living without one, but 3 of my favorite things is beyond comprehension! I can’t think of a better reason to unite and a mob of people who haven’t had their morning coffee isn’t going to be a pretty sight!
